Justin's Big School Nostalgia page

So here is my decent into more nostalgia, specifically the brief period I attended Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts in 1987. These are mostly pictures I took with one of those old, crappy Kodaks, except for the ones that look like prom, or senior year pictures, which are prom or senior year pictures.
If you can fill in the blanks, or whatever email me at xiitone@well.com or find out about my wonderfulness at my homepage - 90s style
The formatting sucks. Deal with it. Also, please excuse my overuse of the word "cool," but I mean it, and it fits into the late eighties high school motif rather well, I think.

Here we go, these are presented in no logical order, just in the order of what I could think of something to say.
first, my embarrasing prom picture with Meg Gardiner, and her senior photo. Meg was my second real girlfriend.
Exciting update-Madelyn sent me some last names, which I've filled in.

Jennifer LeFeaux - one of my favorite people ever. She's moved off to North Carolina - sad me.

This is James Deroun (sp?). Can't remember his last name, but I saw him down in the quarter, where he works. He gave me his number, which I promptly lost. *shrug* What are you gonna do?

Jeremy Martinez. I just remember that I thought he was really fucking funny, and a bit of an outcast.

Ah Madelyn Boudreaux. She was the coolest person I knew. Note the Abstract band tshirt. The band's name was Abstract-hopefully she won't come down from Utah and poke out my eyes for posting these pictures.

This sucks. I was decent buddies with the guy on the left of this picture, and I can't fucking remember his name.
Hrm. Now that I think about it, his name is Dave Frye.

Trent Dawson. I played in my first non-band with this guy. We would hang out and play-I think I knew maybe 3 or 4 of his songs. I felt cool. Now he's an actor, and has a part on As the World Turns. I don't know much about that show, but here's a wondeful quote from his official fan club page(linked to above.)
December 11, 2001: SoapCity.com announced that Henry is coming back to ATWT. "Home for Henry: After an extra-long sojourn on a desert island, Oakdale's favorite bon mot dropper, Henry Coleman, is on his way home. Watch for him to pop up first on the February 14 (that's right, Valentine's Day) episode of the show. But, like with so many other things in Oakdale, his return won't be at all what the audience expects, so stay tuned!"
That cracks my shit up.

This is Shannon Holman. I remember she was much cool. I hung out with her when I came back to LSMSA for what would have been my senior prom.

Noel (whose last name I can't remember.) I run in to Noel and her husband from time to time in NOLA. They're rockers.

Shannon Purvis and Jeanette ________. Shannon was cool and blew up shit. Hardcore.

Ok, I wasn't completely truthful when I said there was no order to this. I'm really good at beating myself up years after I fuck up. Here comes the story of Pete Gautier. I thought Peter was the coolest guy I knew-real earthy, self-deprecating and darkly funny. He got married later to this really cool girl, who I interviewed with years later who recognized me, but I didn't recognize. I was unintentionally cool towards her, because she seemed to be overly-friendly to me. I'm a tremendous asshole.
